• Blepharoplasty

  Cosmetic eyelid surgery can be performed on just the upper eyelids, just the lower lids or both when necessary. The primary goal for upper eyelid surgery is to remove the excess skin that is touching the lashes creating the “tired look”. A small amount of fat may also be removed to rejuvenate the eyelids. The incision is located directly in the upper eyelid crease and the sutures used are dissolvable.

• Facelift Surgery

  The goals of a facelift procedure include lifting the jowls, tightening loose facial and neck muscles and tightening loose facial and neck skin. It is very important to achieve a natural looking result so that the face looks naturally refreshed and rejuvenated. Excellent candidates for a facelift include both men and women in their 50s and 60s who want to look more refreshed and rejuvenated because their face and neck areas are starting to show the signs of aging.

• Browlift

  A brow lift is also known as a Forehead Lift which involves rejuvenating the forehead and lifting the eyebrows. The pre-existing hairline will determine the placement of the incisions. If a patient has a high hairline and wishes to lower it, an incision is placed at the hairline. To raise the hairline, the incision is placed in the scalp behind the existing hairline.

• Chin Implants

  A chin implant procedure is performed for a patient that has a weak and recessive chin profile. Chin implants are composed of Silastic, and are surgically inserted through a submental approach under local anesthesia. Chin implants are manufactured in a variety of sizes and different shapes, such as extended wings, anatomical and pre-jowl implants. The size and shape is determined at the time of the consultation and examination by Dr. Portuese since the implants and the chin are both 3-dimensional structures.

• Cheek Implants

  Cheek implants are placed for patients who have a flat maxilla and flat cheek profile. This can be due to the aging process or simply the way you are born. Cheek implants are manufactured in a variety of sizes which include small, medium, and large and are composed of Silastic, which is at an inert material.

• Neck Lift

  A top neck lift procedure in our practice is performed for patients who are less than 50 years of age, and have excellent skin tone in the neck but simply have excess fatty deposits in the neck and wish to have a jawline enhancement. A neck lift will not tighten loose facial and neck skin; the facelift procedure tightens skin. A neck lift accomplishes removing fat above the platysma muscle also known as submental fat and when sub-platysmal fat is present it will also address fat removal below the platysma muscle.

• Revision Rhinoplasty

  A revision rhinoplasty is more difficult than a primary rhinoplasty due to the fact that there have been previous alterations to the normal anatomy of the nose and scar tissue.
